The start of a New Year usually brings with it lots of promises around improving one’s lifestyle and overall appearance. But these days, that doesn't just mean watching the calories you take in and quitting smoking once and for all. Today’s adults, and specifically those in the 30-something age group are having what’s referred to as, “mini-midlife crisis’” more frequently and much earlier than was once the norm.
A central focus during these crisis’ is hair loss and finding solutions to help fix the issue. A report by dailymail.co.uk looked at the rise in purchases by men in Britan for products to solve hair loss issues over the last few months alone.
Mid-life crisis’ are described as the time in someone’s “half way” point where morality comes into question and many times cause people to begin focusing on improving their well being and restoring youth.
According to the study cited by DailyMail, sales of products dedicated to hair loss, weight loss, premature ejaculation and erectile dysfunction were up 14 percent just since the month prior.
Just why might men be so hyper focused on improving their appearances? To date. That's one link that can be made between the increase in purchases, since Match.com is also reporting a around a 30 percent increase in sales.
Stress levels, toxins and a generally greater focus on appearance all play a critical role in these increased sales and sooner-than-usual mid-life crisis’.  Thankfully there are a number of hair loss and other well-being solutions sold today - some even right on the shelves of the pharmacy to aide those wanting a shot at improvement, get their fix.
