Got Cash? The Expenses of Hair Loss

Hair loss is something no one ever wants to have to deal with. Not only does it make you feel self conscious and unlike yourself, but it can also empty your pockets while you search for remedies to help with your hair loss problems.

Sure the prices of hair transplant surgeries have come down, and there are lots of products on the market that may or may not help - but there are still costs associated that if not careful, can easily drain your bank account.

A recent article on MoneyTalksNews, looked at the various costs associated with battling hair loss and how it all adds up.

While hair transplants typically go either from cost per graft anywhere from $5 to $10 and the cost of the entire procedure reportedly ranging from $1000 to an upwards of $20,000 - since it is a form of cosmetic surgery.

Aside from these very costly surgical procedures, there are also options for those who would rather try a medication or other form of remedy. A generic drug known as Propecia is typically taken to help with baldness -many times in males - since there are some dangers for pregnant women coming in contact, according to the MoneyTalksNews report.

Then there are options such as Rogaine or wigs, extensions and toupees that, depending on the quality of the hair being used, can also vary in range price range with some totaling over $1000 as well.

The bottom line is hair loss is never a fun experience. But with a little research and some self love, it is possible to make the issue less of an issue without emptying your pockets in the process.
