Laser-Based Hair Loss Solutions Provider HLCC Signs Toni & Guy Salon as U.K. Partner
HLCC's products and treatments use low-level lasers and a line of hair loss control products, HLCC Scripts, along with client consultation on the causes of hair loss and various treatment options.
"The laser treatments and hair loss products are not just for thinning hair, but also for anyone wanting healthier hair," said HLCC UK owner Sajida Rashid. "Some of my clients just use the product systems and not the laser and then, after seeing the difference that results from the products alone, many want to move into the laser treatment for even better results."
Sajida Rashid, along with co-owner Saleem Rashid, worked with Toni & Guy Salon in Canary Wharf, London to open the salon's new Laser Therapy Lounge. According to Rashids, treatment of thinning hair and hair loss has become such a growing part of the salon service menu that this partnership was a natural for establishing a pilot hair loss program for Toni & Guy's salon clients.
The Laser Therapy Lounge will greatly benefit customers as it offers hair loss treatments for both men and women with all hair types. As part of the launch, the salon offered free hair loss consultations and discount offers on laser treatments earlier this year.
As part of this partnership, Sajida Rashid will also use her expertise with HLCC clients to train Toni & Guy Salon staffers in consultation, laser therapy and the HLCC line of products.
Laser treatments for hair loss are gaining popularity worldwide. Even though some dermatologists still debate whether or not the laser treatment for hair loss is safe or effective, there are a number of places around the globe offering laser treatments for hair loss. These laser treatment clinics make use of large laser devices and typically require patients to visit the office for multiple sittings each month.
One of the latest innovations in laser-based hair loss therapies is the laser comb, approved by FDA to thicken the appearance of hair. The Laser comb utilizes low level laser therapy (LLLT), which emits photo energy - both painless and non-toxic. However, FDA is still conducting trials to approve the gadget for hair growth stimulation.
